Wee Jasper and Brindabella Ranges Feb 17-19

Hi Guys
Heading down to wee jasper for a weekend with the family in feb, not sure where we're camping yet probably swinging bridge, Friday just a setting up chilling out with a bit of fishing and swimming and Sat I want to do a bit of exploring in the brindies, want to check out McIntyres hut and Mt Coree, haven't been there before so any advice on some good tracks to play, nothing to extreme just a bit of good dirty fun, we'll have 3 trucks along so don't mind if there's a chance of getting stuck just don't want to break them.
Also what's the bast map to get of the area?
If anyone's down there and you see us come and say hi or drop by for a coldie, Silver 90 series, white 80 and a dark blue Paj.

G'day Rob. It's all pretty easy going in the Brindies. If you get to Piccidilly Circus you have options of heading down to Bendora Dam and up to Mt Coree. Coree is a reasonably easy climb with great views. There are a few different option ranging in difficultly (nothing too full on) heading back down from Coree and it's well worth doubling up on a couple of tracks to try the other options. Brindies is just fun to explore. Also make sure you get to Flea Ck which has a nice swimming / fishing area.

There is also Corrin Dam, Canberra Deep Space Communications Center (CDSCC) and Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve. While they aren't off-roading, they are good places to visit. Also make a stop and walk out on the observation deck to look at the new dam wall being built. It's an impressive build!

I am fortunate enough to live near Point Hut Crossing, giving me easy access to the lot. I quite often drive out that way on the black-top and pick a random track to head down ending up at places like Vanities Crossing and Peirces Creek (sp). Additionally, if you head south, you can go to Honey Suckle Creek Tracking Station which is the original site of todays CDSCC.

No matter which track you take you'll enjoy it. being it the peace and quite of the ranges knowing that the hussle and bussle of Canberra is not far away is an odd feeling. I think there are a couple of track that can be downloaded for the Brindies at ExplorOz.

Hey Guys from Wee Jasper am I best to come in Via doctors flat rd to mountain creek rd then two sticks (which I'm hoping will get mt to Mt Coree) from there where do I head to do Flea Creek and Mcintyres Hut.?
