You should probably post a new thread or change the title!
OK Brad! Nuh I can't change the thread title; apparently only moderaters can do that so I'll put in a request! Let me know if you can come along but please realise it'll be a long day coming from the beaches!
Cheers,
Glenn

I know, but I'm busting to try out the air locker! I think maybe Newnes or The Watagans are the only closer 4wding places to The Northern Beaches???
That's the price I pay for living in God's Country!
Cheers, Brad

Yep it's a long way from God's Country to the closest 4wd destination! Although I can remember many years ago we went to Oxford Falls a few times which is somewhere over your way. Shame the area was closed off. Did one trip with some guys in the old Landrovers; that was an experience!
I think some of the other guys were talking about going to the Watagans on Saturday??
If you want to come with us we could go to Newnes state forest if the others are agreeable; will see what happens

Ourimbah would be close for the northern suburbs, it's just south of the Watagans. Some very hard stuff in there which requires lockers.
I hear there's a few tracks around Wisemans ferry as well, but I've never been there. I can see some tracks via Google's satellite view, both in Dharug N/P (probably closed, knowing them) and Comleroy S/F (near Leets Vale).
Hi Glenn, sorry i can't join. Not because of the time, but i'm sick because of a midnight tennis game some days ago. Have to get medicine now so probably can't recover well to go there tomorrow. Enjoy and see you next time.

Trip completed Was a good day out despite spending way too much time on the first track clearing fallen branches only to be stopped by a huge tree over the track; we had to back up a fair way & take an alternate route. All part of the fun sometimes!
The weather was cool but plenty of sunshine. 6 vehicles all up today but a couple of mishaps with Bob suffering a broken tailight & some rear panel damage & Leigh had a rock go through a tyre sidewall; those Dunlop tyres don't seem to be much good on the rocky tracks as the sidewalls seem rather thin to me!
Pics & vids to come....
Cheers,
Glenn
