Perth wa day trip

Awesome day out with the g/f and dog today. Time to step up to a more aggressive tyre. The Cooper Disco CTSs my prado came with have plenty of life left but lack traction off road. I'm off to cocos for a couple weeks next weekend but we get out nearly every weekend lately. I'd love to get out with a few others as my friends don't 4WD. It's too bad they will never see 99% of this country.

I may head out for a few hours on Sunday the 12th of Aug for a little play. I'm thinking of heading off pinjar road down the sand tracks that head to the power station then over to "the hill". Those not familiar with the hill it's one hill with four tracks heading up it usually easy to hard all varied. It's a bit of fun you don't have to do the hill but I just want to get out of the house and go for a drive. I may have my brother in law with his SWB pajero and another friend with his patrol. If anyone is keen let me know. I'm thinking about 8:30-9:00 start.

One little kaka went out one day.
Over the hill and far away.
Lets hope his diff don't snap, snap, snap,
Coz its unlikely kaka will be driving back.

Its a 150 they don't break diffs lol....How do you even do the little green thingo's ? you would think with my lovely "150 bullbar pictures thread" and its 15,000 views would have me more green lighted than .........something with heaps of green lights?

Its a 150 they don't break diffs lol....How do you even do the little green thingo's ? you would think with my lovely "150 bullbar pictures thread" and its 15,000 views would have me more green lighted than .........something with heaps of green lights?

There is a star (6 pointed) in the left bottom of the post. If you hover over it, it says "add to this user's reutation". This adds to the green lights at some unknown rate. Personally if I knew someone was a "user" I would avoid the heptitis infected druggy as much as possible, but apprently its all safe

EDIT ,I might have a look around this weekend for possible undiscovered tracks North of Gnaggara Road.
There is a lake about 30km north of Gnaggara road i found on one of those 4WD days out books, but I can't find it on google.

hey mate I checked it on near map today and we can get straight in at gnangara and literally follow the powerlines till we cross neaves road and up to the power station.

I am heading out Sunday so far just myself and another friend with. 2006 GLX Prado and possibly a young fella with a Triton. Nice drive through the pines doing the power line run (not the mundaring one)
