Hi guys, Well the weather should be ok for sunday, dry Saturday and few showers clearing Sunday, I think they won't eventuate :-)
If it really rains i suggest perhaps a plan b, of going to wombat.

So plan A. Meet 8am or so, mc snuffin, fuel etc, to depart 8.30am at bp/Maccas on Calder hwy
outside Calder pk raceway. (outbound side).
That should get us to Cobaw not much after 9am. (it's about 60k from there)
Air down, then make it up as we go, depends how many rigs, what set ups & weather etc what tracks we do.
This day will be for drivers at least with some offroad driving experience. (not newbies).
Should have own recovery gear.
Never turn up without your own snatch strap and rated bow shackles, (like some do).
However don't really expect to need to use it.

Other handy items to bring:
Smile
Water
Food - I'm due for a cook up :-)
Shovel
Chainsaw

Just to give the heads up, in a bout 2 weeks, or next week :-) if the weather is very good, a tallarook (1day) trip could be on the cards.
Toolangi (1day) might not be too far after that.
got to fit an otways weekend (2-3days) in soon after that opens up.
high country on cup week :-) (4-7days)
robe beach run late November (4 days? im not sure?)
relax a bit in december and Jan chrissy&family stuff & beach, then a tassie run In feb (10days?)
Fraser trip maybe april may? (10days?)
or something like that, sounds good to me anyway.......

Enjoy the trip tomorrow. Sorry I can't make it. Doing the Great Ocean Road with some overseas visitors - no off road as most of Otways are closed. I'm in for daytrips and weekenders if available.

Will have to get down the otways again maybe mid November trip?
Don't know how I'm going to fit all these places in..... :-)

Ok so there were 5 rigs in the end, of which only 2 were prados.
Ripper of a day, just the weather we needed.
It has been ripped up a lot lately up there.
Everyone had a lot of fun on some interesting tracks.
Good to meet everyone, especially Shan for the first time, hopefully we can get out again soon.
No point talking about it, Shan has got hundereds of pictures i think.....
