melb weather might have a sprinkle but north where we are going tomorrow there is only cloud predicted.
there was'nt much rain today so after the dry week we have had, i expect it to be dry, maybe just enuff rain today to keep the dust down.

Ohh bugger we missed the great race.... :lol: of the cars that look like holden and fords, not much left in them that is.....
Let me guess what happened...... Ford and Holdens raced around and around and around and around around and around and around and around around around and around around and around and around and around and around and aroundand around and around and around..............etc
about 300k on the str8 same old really......?
a few prangs, a few dint make it.
It might get interesting again when some other makes get into it.

I know i missed the fun parts, I just prefer to DO rather than watch, pitty I dont have a V8supercar.


my choice was easy.....



It turned out to be a relativly dry day, there was a little sprinkle early, but as there was only a small shower or so on sat and the dry week before it just soaked in.

We had 2 recoverys, 1st was the mighty jackeroo after it had trouble getting up the first one, of the many hills we climbed. it was only because it backed itself onto a mound on the way down and got hung up.
The second was a verrry muddy sloshy flat section (the type i avoid) frenchy loves mud and was keen so we did it, after i showed how it was done, frenchy in the bj73 got hung up on his u bolts.
This resulted in a self recovery, christening the new winch.
Then Shan ran the prado through showing once again, you cant stop the prados

It's around 100k, a bit less to the area, a bit more right into the tracks.

I did about 250k for the day, I think over 50 on dirt.
Left home with last diesel fuel tank just over 1/2
Got home with 1/4 left so a pretty cheap day out :-)
