Sorry mate still in Lorne for another week, looks like you did some nice cruising last week. Might go for a quick spin down here and see if Curtis tk has reopened.

Just been for a quick recce, Curtis is still closed @ Mt Sabine rd end but you can see where heaps of vehicles have gone around. The most probable reason for this is because the gate is wide open at the Wye River rd end. We went for a quick look but didn't do the whole track as I had no other vehicles with me and apart from the winch no recovery gear. I can see why it was left closed for a bit longer, it's fairly chewed in some sections. Fair few maniacs driving on Mt Sabine Rd trying to get to Falls Festival150 with stuff bolted on!

LOOKS LIKE AN OTWAYS TRIP not a high country trip
Ok so we had thoughts of returning to the high country in the coming days but have decided to leave it to another time.
Now change of plans, Have some unfinished business in the otways, should be able to conquer it in a few hours once off the black.
The plan is an early start, reccie a couple tracks heading from the coast in, then to drive curtis trk and cowley link trk up. then back to the coast, i think......?
