2 more weeks to go now...
still got lot of things to get done before...
Long days for me until then
For 2 of us it might be 8 days till departure :-)
Imaging how long Josh's days are, trying to run a business and setting it up to keep it going while away.
Plus getting car & camping gear ready for a family of camping for the first time, (no caravan)
Plus make a couple sets of custom drawers.
Plus an afternoon evening to ARB.
Plus a half day in wombat? - for a rest!
Sounds like 4 weeks work in 10 days?
I'm sure I missed something, being hubby & a dad etc
Well i just got home after 4 days up there. Let me just say that all the tracks and beaches are fine. Yes some sand is gone but there's nothing to worry about at all. We were staying on the western side at Kingfishers so we were using the inland tracks to get to eastern beaches and to lake McKenzies, and be honest i think a hyundai excel could do most of the tracks.
I went for a drive right up to the northern tip and then around to the lighthouse and there was only one spot which was a short very steep 15m beach access point from Marloo to Orchid Beach township that a landcruiser destroyed by getting stuck there and having no idea of what to do so they just sat there and dug holes lol. It was the only time i locked the center lock. I was on 20psi the whole time without issue.
I'll give some more details a bit later but now im going for a nanna nap.
Heard from a work colleague who was up there last week there was a Hilux upside down in the sand with Police tape around it that the tide had been through a couple of times, how on earth do people get themselves in that situation?
Cheers,
Dave

Anders maybe you can leave the blkd4d at home and take Sheree's car would be much more fuel efficient on the way up! It also appears your plan may come off and we get to the tip?..
James thanks for the update, we're all hanging to get up there and see the conditions for ourselves, enjoy your nana nap!
