Roger. Half of the track (the last half to Daly River Rd) is still closed. Is this going to be an issue?

Winniliss, To be honest I have no idea. The trip is planned by Gavin of the Landcruiser club. So I assumed all will be good.
Yes I know the dreaded "assumed". But hay I trust people. Also what is the worst that could happen???

I know not much of an answer. Sorry.

I did this track in 1997 in my good ol trusty 86'model Hilux 2.4d powerhouse.....LOL.

Look from memory you will also go through Lost City?.......where the rock formations are..............way back then we went to Sandy creek aswell and it was in July.........Back then the water crossings where only maybe 600mm deep........The worst of the track was a steep incline with rock ledges that rise around 400-600mm from memory on the Litchfield side of the Lost city.......reasonable ground clearance was required......I went with a holden drover (Suzuki Stockman in drag) and I had to drag him down some ledges because his bulbar had hung up on the decent angles.......pretty painfull for him but no damage was done exept his pride.

Hope this helps a little........been a loooong time since I've been down there.

              Can I still play now I have a 200 series?........Had a 2008 120 Series D4D Manual 6 Speed...STANDARD White, Soverign Bar..........Rear Cage........Dashmat.......GX Wheels with Good Year Dura Tracs........Bilstein/Dobbo 2'' lift.....Safari Snorkel....Canvas Seat Covers.....20%tint..........55W HID Headlights.....Mudmats front and rear.....
              22'' Lightbar......

Scratches are like scars for the car. Chicks dig scars!! LOL.

As long as it is drivable and not to badly damage then all is good.

Derek, All good. Glad I have been able to deliver some thing to be honest. Not just ask and receive.

Winniliss, A dust suppressing beverage might be partaken in at the end of the trip.

SOL. Keen for getting out and about.

Checked the NT road report just then:

Between Litchfield Park Road and Daly River Road With Caution Road Works Motorists are advised to heed all traffic control.

Looks like the track is open...
