Mav, Grandeman ? are you guys coming ??

    Regards,
I'm in for a day trip, Mrs Mav has given the green light for a day trip only due to Hunter not being quite up to doing an overnighter just yet.

I was only at the Muswellbrook McDonald's two days ago. 10:30 am will give us time to get there no problems.

    Cheers

Glad to see young Hunter will be coming along too. Be warned.......Lacey is looking for a cuddle from Hunter after seeing his piccie the other day. See you all then.

Hope the forecast changes. At present it calls for a 50% chance of 1-5mm of rain.

I am a maybe at the moment.

The missus hurt her back on the weekend and cant move around well at all.
We are supposed to be in Sydney on Friday night as well. Will have to see what happens. I would say we will be up there for the day not overnight unfortunately if we can make it.

              Raincoats

              Bring your raincoats boys

Just looked at the weather channel for Scone this weekend

My Dunop Grandtreks with 50,000 on the clock may not have enough "bite" in all the mud

Tried to buy some Coopers ATR's today but I am in "negotiations" with the lease company at the moment, so Dunlops it is for a while yet.....

I would like to come, but depends on the weather. I will be bringing my little fella Isaac (4y.o). It's too hard to keep him entertained and reasonably dry in the wet.

I will confirm either way later in the week.

                      Nintendos

I hear you fellas. Do yourself a favour buy your kids a Nintendo DS (the latest model is called the Nintendo Lite I think). My kids 12 and 10 love em. Great for bedtime, quiet time, or when everything is so "boring".....

They're also a bit like UHF in that the kids can "pictochat" with anybody else within 100 metres or so. Last time I was in a convoy the kids were "pictochating" from one car to the next.....

To be honest, its the only way I can get my youngest to come....
but he will grow up.

Well the weather has been attrocious here in Port Stephens today and Mrs Mav has said that if the weather is like this on Saturday we are not going. I am hoping that the worst of the rain is behind us but I just saw tomorrows chart and it does not look good.

The BOM just issued a flood warning for the Paterson and Williams rivers, and Chichester dam is overflowing. Sounds like there has been alot of rain up that way, dosent look good.

I have been trying to get hold of the guy from All Terrain trailers who has organised our trip up to Chichester as I have doubts whether we are going to be able to move up there. He went to Frazer and probably got evacuated over Xmas and now has brought it down here. Supposed to be 58 trailers going 180 odd people and can't raise anybody and most are coming up from Sydney - could be very interesting as it is pissing down here in Singleton

Looking at the weather radar though, even with all the rain it is not showing any rain falling over Dungog so I don't know and might just have to take a drive out there for a look as we have been waiting to break the camper in (had it since October and haven't slept in it yet)

If Chichester is off and you guys are still going to Barrington, we might slip up there with you. Will keep my eyes on the forum
