To be honest, it couldn't have happened at a better time as I had already lined up the work truck for a month to begin rebuilding the front end and throw in a few modifications.

As to how it happened? I hit the wrong line, too hard. :embarrassed:

As frustrating as it is to damage my car, I'm glad it wasn't something so serious that I couldn't get home.

I got home without any problem, and the car still drives great overall and amazingly I can't replicate the same issue in normal driving condition. It starts spot on any time even if in the cold morning. However, definitely will check it soon when i have free time this week.

Did you end up driving Blackfellows Trail? If so, what condition is it in?

I'm hoping to cruise up there this Sunday, but I will be taking it easy. New vehicle and my partner has never done any of this off roading stuff, so I don't want to freak her out.... yet....

Nah we didn't, and I haven't been there for a while now. The condition of Blackfellows Hand Trail tends to be anywhere from good, to bog hole madness, lol. My vehicle is shod with BF Goodrich All terrain LT265/70 R17 tyres. What the general consensus on the the pressure to be running once I'm off the black top?

Beach - Probably around 25 PSI. I usually go down to 18-22 but my tall/skinny tyres are very stiff and need the lower pressure to bag out.
