A mate of mine is coming up from Adelaide for the weekend and we're going to have an explore of the Glass House Mountains area... no real plan to the day except it will be mostly driving, looking for fun tracks (nothing too extreme although I'm sure you could find some if you want to )

Were also having a more relaxing day on Saturday at Double Island Point... (http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php?p=29670#29670)

Location - Glass House Mountains

Choice of meeting spots

1) meet - BP Servo at Morayfield/Caboolture, just off Bruce H/Way
Time - 8:00am

2) meet - Glasshouse Mtns Lookout on Glasshouse woodford Rd
Time - 8:45 - 9:00am

Time - Choose your meeting point(Finish... once again, no real plan but most of the day)

Hi Snaga , If you are leaving Dayboro I think you may be up near Mt Mee area , not Glase house Mts , but beside that I would love to go for a drive up around there again soon, We will be in Toowoomba saturday ,maybe good for Sunday ??? will let you know in time! thanks :twisted: peter

I'll check with rogerdoger and see which one he wanted to check out... I'll update the thread if necessary

Timing will stay the same but change the meeting place if it's GH and not Mt Mee.

It looks like we'll go with Glass House Mtns... so I'll change the meeting point. Just have to work out where we want to go in.

Yep, still on... supposed to rain all weekend so hopefully not too much that the tracks will suffer

We'll meet Rogerdodger at the Glasshouse Mtn Lookout at the start of Glasshouse Woodford rd at 9:00am and go from there.

Did you want to meet in Caboolture at 8:30 or something...? I'm coming from the southside.

No plan Kel, but we're going to go in off glasshouse woodford rd, under the power lines (where I left you guys last time we went up there)

What time would you have to leave?

Meet at north bound BP off bruce highway at 8.00am for 8.30 start. UHF 13. If it rains overnight then we might give those tracks a miss else we should be able to complete the powerlines track on Big red side before lunch time. I'll need to leave at 12pm to get to work on time.

Oh, we'll stick with UHF 15 as that's what I've already told Craig (we can always drop to 13 if need be later)

so glass house not that far away , just need location , to find ya!!
