Hi all,

I've organised a little BBQ Xmas catch-up on FB for the SEQ group... who are mostly PP members anyway so thought I would post it here as well.

When : Sunday 24th Nov 2013
Where: G J Walter Park, Cleveland QLD 4163 (79'ish Shore St East, Cleveland)
Time: 11am for a few hours.
Bring: Food and drink of your liking for yourself. I'll bring my 4 burner BBQ so you can cook on that or what ever tickles your fancy.

The plan is to have a lunch time catch-up for anyone interested. There is a kids playground, small beach, toilets... and a dog 'off'-leash' area nearby.
Plenty of park space so if you have a fun cricket set or other games feel free to bring them and we'll see what we can get started.

Busy time of year unfortunately but I'll try and pop in between nippers in the morning and scouts Christmas party in the afternoon. Don't wait for us or anything though.

Hi Leon. A few days ago I was about to say yes to this. Unfortunately my little daughter has come down with a contagious virus (not serious), so not wanting to infect any children or adults we'll have to refrain from going. Thanks for posting up the invite though. I remember a S.E Qld group thread about meeting up and BBQ's but surprisingly there are not many takers for this...must be nearing Christmas!! Maybe this post will bump it up???

Again many thanks for the invite....we''ll aim for the next Chrissy Barbie.....assuming I'll still have a Prado???

Doubtful weather must have scared everybody, ended up with Leon and family, Stewy and Renee and myself. The weather held off and we enjoyed a relaxed BBQ (after we assembled Leons' new BBQ) with a few bevies by the sea. A nice afternoon and we left about 2.00pm before the storm that didn't arrive in the Redlands.
