And I'll pass on that wave to chippy this weekend, no doubt about it....
Reminds me of my safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.

best way to fix lack of grunt on hwy is to chip it up with a d chip or similar and a bigger dump pipe off the turbo and a nice free flowing exhaust. should be up near a std d4d in terms of power and torque
had an 03 gx 120 with some gear now got a 2013 bt 50 GT auto some ARB gear.
heaps more power with a D chip and a custom dump pipe with a 3" exhaust.
Im not hijacking the thread or anything, But Craig.
You need to put some pictures of that dump and pipe.
I'd like to see that. . maybe the diesel section. (i might go check to see if its been done before)
Tin City.
Wedge island (WA) is a little like that.
And also the west coast of tassie has some shacks that are on crown land.
Gov trying to kick them out but squatters rights. (i think)
But the same. Can only maintain, cant sell, and if you die it comes down. I dont even think it can be handed down to kids etc..

They are a bit of a must see @ Stocko as there is nothing like it anywhere else in the country i believe.
You arent allowed to rebuild if any get burnt down or destroyed by other means. You are allowed to maintain though.
There are some pretty flash setups there. A few have full on solar setups & FOXTEL...
Bloody city council will be hoping for a freak wave/mini sunami , they could get the lot off there in 1 go
Looks like a great day out , good on the ole ozzy sickys
My car goes in thursday morn for the suspension fit , i wish someone on a sicky could pick me up and go for a run on the sand ! looks like i'll spend the couple of hours reading 4WD action in the waiting room or sun baking on the lawn !

Found a couple of pics of some of the shacks at Wedge
Most of them are tucked into the lee of the dunes ... as the wind off the water can get a bit harsh at times ... but there are some real Taj Mahals up there.
