  • Advice for Cabin QLD/ Northern NSW for family stay

    Hi
We wanted to take the family away and stay in a cabin with fireplace for a long weekend in SEQ or northern NSW
Preferably somewhere nearby for 4wding. Cabin to have showers, toilet, beds, fireplace etc as it just staying away over winter for a few days. Not camping in a tent this trip
Be nice if it is in the hills or near a river for the kids to play, like a wilderness lodge etc.

    Anybody have any recommendations

    Cheers
    Robert

    Hi Robert

When I last drove the Condamine Valley Gorge Rd about a month ago I saw some cabins along the track.

    cheers

+1 I'd love to know exactly this also. I'm getting a bit over the whole tent thing for short trips. I'm particularly interested in good value destinations. With Mrs and 4 kids in tow, the cost of things add up too damn quickly!

Have they got rid of those little stoves in the cabins that you can only fit in three matchsticks in and replaced them with something decent yet Tiny.?
