Just got back from 4 days at Fraser, gotta say anyone who is pondering doing the trip...stop pondering and pack the car.

The whole family had an awesome time and the stock 150 did Indian head, orchid beach and all the usual tracks and trails no problems. Although the front bumper has some minor bruising from the 3 big whoops on the left hand side of the Indian head bypass track ops:.

Great place for some fun, although next time I would make sure I booked early enough to stay on 75 mile beach side as the trek across the island each day got a bit monotonous.

Yes - I remember inadvertently testing out the bump stops on my brand new 120 there 10 years ago. Ouch!

I thought that I was the coolest kid on the beach, tearing up from the water line at a million miles an hour, past a bogged backpacker troopy, then up, down, BANG!
Not so cool after all

You mean like this? Pretty sure they weren't there on the way over in the morning, must have just appeared on the way back. BIL in the camera car was cleaning sand out of his radiator for a while...

Glad you enjoyed it though. It was good to be back after 7 years away.

And as the locals say, stay away from yellow number plates and hire cars. Nothing but bog fodder.
