Esperance Caravan Parks

Looking to head toward Esperance way early next year and considering hiring a caravan for something different.

I've been on Tripadvisor trying to search for a decent family orientated caravan park, but was wondering if any PPer have any experiences they wish to share?

Stay away from Esperance, it is crap.... Only joking.
Esperance Seafront Caravan Park is pretty good.
It is not far from the town centre, ocean is across the road and the tanker jetty is in walking distance if you are into fishing.
If you are coming during Christmas school holidays you will need to book as all the caravan parks fill up and the overflow has to camp at the sports ground on gravel.

Hi Madkore,
x2 for Esperance Seafront, but mate you've got to get out of town for a few days and get out to Cape Legrande Nat Park and camp in at Lucky Bay.
It's about an hour East of Esperance and has a sealed road up to the ranger station well within the nat park by memory. With only a small amount of graded gravel into the campsite. It gets very busy and you have to get there REALLY early and wait for someone to leave.
But it's well worth it, obviously a lot cheaper than a caravan park and is right near the whitest beach with sand that squeaks when you walk or drive on it, the most crystal clear (cold) water you've ever seen and here's the kicker, it has flushing toilets and hot showers! Shade and a tap at the end of each row.
As long as you dont need power (the fridge will run off gas and a lantern for light is fine) you could spend a few days out there

Yeah, will definitely be looking to get out of town as well, with plenty of unreal places mentioned online to go check out.

just don't go to Pine grove, it was crap when we were travelling around about a year ago.

Wife and kids wanted to shower in van as amenities were disgusting

Awesome beaches and a few you can get onto. One along the tourist drive has an awesome climb out of it, im sure you will find it
