G'day all

Went to The Springs 4x4 Park on Easter Sunday.

Got there a bit later than we hoped as the Boonah-Beauderest Rd was closed due to flooding at the causeway near Boonah. Had to go back and out through Ipswich and then on up to Warick.

Had a great time with mates, both in 80 series. The tracks were a bit greasy from the rain but not too bad. Didn';t take any photos but when we did The Skids track managed to get a bit of video.

Wife was not happy about me doing this little bit of track, said rude words about breaking the Prado. But I didn't break it.

Track is steeper than it looks, damp and slippery. After we all did this, it was Beer O'Clock Hill time. Aired up and had a pleasant trip back home to the Goldie.

The Springs 4x4 Park

Got to get back to the Springs again... Always good to see a driver following the spotters instruction to the letter. The spotter has eyes on what's going on under the vehicle which the driver can't see...rather than barreling through an obstacle and then wondering how they damaged the underneath later ( sometimes with expensive consequences...)
