    SEQld Cape York Trip 2015

    Well after much discussion over numerous steak nights and beers, a plan was hatched for a 2015 Cape York trip.
    The timings this year proved difficult for some unfortunately and my recent surgery meant a small delay but alas the day is almost here.
    Craig and myself and our boys are leaving this weekend.

    The Prados are packed, tanks are full, campsites booked and we are itching to go.
    This trip will will be tackling Old Coach Rd, Old Tele Track, Frenchman's, Starcke and maybe a few others. If we cross paths, make sure you come say hello over a cold beer.
    We will endeavor to post up some photos during the trip.

    Have a good trip guys. You will have to organise a steak night when you get back for the tall tales and true. Doubt there will be many of the last though!

        Gentlemen,

        Have a great trip and look forward to following your travels on Spot Tracker.
        We are planning for next year so look forward to more info and stories

          Look forward to hearing all about it when u get back or any progress reports along the way.....

          Also.... if u guys when u get to the Jardine River, can verify the following 2 attached photos to see if it is true or false, that would be good.....

              Day1.
              A long day in the saddle. We made Mackay by nightfall with a few quick stops which was just under 1000kms
              Craig was trying to make it on one tank of petrol.
              I was sweeper like the white VW in top gear as I kindly offered him my green container that has 5 litres of two stoke chainsaw fuel. But alas he chose not to risk it and refuel just in time. My trusty green 2 stoke tin is still waiting for him but :-)

                So Robert you still got half a tank left. May have to throw Craig a tow line lol

                    Trouble.....


                    Looks like Craig's just done the alternator. Buggar!
                    His main battery is reading 12 volts and no charge from alternator. Lucky we were near a workshop. It's an adventure....

                      I thought you were having lunch in a mower shop in Bowen. I know c likes his salad fresh but that is ridiculous. How many alternators is this now?
