Has anyone been to Fraser Island in the last week or so??

Hey guys,

I've been to Fraser several times before and was just hoping that somebody may of been in the last week or so and could possibly give me an update on track conditions, especially up the northern end as we're camping at Ocean Lakes, any input is greatly appreciated.

A guy from work just spent 2 weeks up there (last week of Jan/first week of Feb). He said it rained a lot and there weren't many people about. The side effect of that is that he only got stuck once when, according to him, he was being silly. The sand was quite hard everywhere because of the rain and lack of traffic. They went up to the northern tip but didn't camp there because it was blowing a gale.

Thanks for the heads up, it looks like the weather should hold for us, fingers crossed there will be plenty of good fishing for our week over there.
