          Great read thanks Golly.

We're planning to travel Perth to Wagga Wagga, Easter 2010 with our 3 girls(then 8.11.15) our son (18) will stay home. We'll be spending time in Melbourne (Sunbury or Hoppers Crossing where we used to live) and Adelaide seeing friends. I'm hoping our trip will be as memorable as yours.

2010 might be a good excuse for us to do it again. Keep us posted mate, we may make it a convoy around Easter, would be nice to see that country again after a bit of rain. Our eldest girl might pike out too, we will have to see on that. Mrs would love to go to Sydney as well with more relies in that neck of the woods too. Life.... love it.

Yeah we'd be up for that, a convoy sounds good, the wife love a good road trip.
At this stage it's all go for us, we're camper trailer shopping at the moment. What a mission that's turned out to be - we didn't realise how many were out there. We've narrowed the list a lot.
We're planning to take the girls out of school a week early as we need to be in Wagga (Geocaching event) for Easter, we'll be away for 3 weeks.

By the way, it's was amazing you didn't hear us when we spotted your car the other week, all the yelling and screaming while we were getting the camera sorted and waiting for the lights to change. It's amazing how few stickers are out there.

The wife has a line: physio $400 (strained neck), optician $700 (new glasses), spotting a prado point sticker "Priceless!"

Sounds like a Hoot! , mind you, my Mrs has hinted of going to Darwin in July and tacking this onto the GTG dates in 2010 so we will see. The ladies can change there mind at the last minute as you probably know hahaha... Trailer shopping for me too at the moment. Might go down the Leachy or Mumsrig way and do a custom built.

Have a gork at Ranger Camping in Bentley on Albany Hwy, they got some Oztrail 9's in basic on road/ off road formats for around $6000. Could be a good base to build one up with.

So Sydney could be on still , time will tell..... thankyou love for that last minute brain fart hahaha...

                  Hi Golly

Friends of ours have done the custom built thing too. They're very happy with it, they have the Oztrail 12, it the perfect size for us at the moment with the 4 kids (we camped in there backyard on Saturday night - too many wines to drive home). We're hiring a 9ft Outback camper this weekend to compare sizes - we're going to Nanga Mill - there I've told you where to find a prado point sticker  With our older two on the verge of moving out in the next couple of years we're debating what to do size wise (they both are thinking about joing the army when they've finished school).

By the way, isn't it a women prerogative to change her mind?

Nothing wrong with that Mum, builds character...

In my house, this is a sad fact, massively outnumbered I am lmao

Hell ! we may even come down there for a day trip, good excuse for a drive on the weekend. PM me with your mobile and where you will be camped up and we may visit with my girls. Can't promise, don't know what the lady has planned for when I get back in town. I may just.... convince her to go the trailer way as she is a bit on the fence at the moment. haha... I have been knee capped on my spending at the moment HAHAH !!
