Gidday all,

Well, the family and I are heading over to Straddie for a week so if anyone's around, and the timing is right let me know and we can explore some of the island's tracks.
PM me if you don't know my mobile as I'll be checking PP while I'm over there.
We'll be over there a few days either side of next weekend so get in touch if your up for a day trip.

Win, win really... we get a week away and my SIL gets a holiday away from her parents while she house sits :mrgreen:

First day on the island and the old bus' tyres have tasted the sand of Flinders beach and the Tripod lookout track.
I'll put some pics up when I get my computer on the Internet' but it sure is relaxing over here
Have to look at the lockers tomorrow... Seems I've got a loose airline near the diff

No, don't need the lockers but just turned them on to have some fun creating twin rooster trails on the beach
Turns out the air line touched the mufler pipe and melted. The diff has lost a small amount of oil but not enough to worry about.
We're staying at my brothers, brother-in-law's ( :? ) holiday rental house at Point Lookout.

We got back last Friday and this is my first chance to get onto PP... (shame on me I hear you say ops: )

Had a great week with a few new areas explored. I'll try and get a bit of a trip report and track log together in the next few days.
