Great write up Matt

I could hear you guys around in the morning but kept dropping in and out
Not wrong bout the dust and sand, there was a bit of a breeze that helped the vision
but it was still pretty bad in some spots,and almost like the beach in some areas even on our side

Matt,

I was wondering if your convoy had traveled along Commission Rd. between the Putty Rd. & the Kings Cross junction but from your report it seems like you didn't but correct me if I'm wrong.

It's been a few years since I've been up Commission Rd & I wanted to find out if it's still open; we came to a gate about half way along with a big sign on it saying Private Property. We decided to go through as it was not locked & assumed that Commission Rd is a public road. We were looking for one track in particular which is marked on the State Forests Central Coast map. It runs from Comm. Rd west into Putty State Forest, it's not shown on the old 1st edition topo maps & we couldn't find it on the day as we were running out of time & had to head back home.
