A brave soul could have probably made the second crossing but I do not have a snorkel

You would have been a very sorry brave soul.... lockers and muddies and we still sank the Toyota Surf in our group.

That was one of the most enjoyable trip reports I have read in a long time. Some arid places in SA. I thought WA was harsh

I have to ask about 45 deg temp on display. Gee, was it really that hot in August?

I believe it was 27 in Adelaide on that day but yeah it was warm and a dust/sand storm as well in the afternoon. Thanks for the comments on the report.
