Hey!!
It really was a great weekend even though we had a "light breeze" (see galeforce :mrgreen
throughout the night and early morning.
With the tyres down to about 16psi the sand was nice and easy going in most spots,(started at the entrance to the beach on Lavis Ln at 18psi then decided to go further down when up on the beach).
After getting lost for 15 min and seeing some unusual and funny things, like camping on the side of a dune, a Subaru Forester.....with a snorkel,(Pradogxlv6, says I missed one with a homemade version  ), and a stuck Mazda Bravo, I stumbled upon where camp was set up.
After meeting everyone it was pretty much a classic afternoon with, tales, beverages and laughs. after the set up of the "Swag Mahal", and a pepper seasoning incident :lolsorry Samo & Matt) , it was round the fire for another beverage or 3 and another chat, till the wind picked up.
Thanks to Matt & Jack, Samo, Glenn, Joel, Ang, Damo & Nat for the invite and the company .....also the Iconic and beautiful camping spot

We'll have to get another trip going again for the Members who couldnt make it down this time.
We both had a good time, didnt realise till we were heading off the beach that I hadn't put it in 4wd yet  We didn't manage to shake the baby loose either.
I saw a lifted Forrester at the servo on our way in, kitted out quite nicely with barwork and stuff, i do like them done up.
