Will put you on the reserve list Jeff. Looks like we should have approval from National Parks for this trip but Ryan will confirm soon

This trip has been booked,approved, confirmed, paid for and ready to go :mrgreen:
Could all those who have their names on the attendee list please PM Glenn or Myself
with a 100% confirmation by Monday Nov 30th so we can provide NPWS with rego details
of the vehicles ( Vehicle type did not even come into it may I add....no Nissans here :mrgreen: )
For some reason or another NPWS does not email reciepts :x so I am awaiting the ever reliable
Postal service for this (they Reckon Wednesday at the latest), one of us will email a copy of the receipt to all attending 8)

Thanks again to all for their Patience with this as it is a long and slow process also special thanks to Kenta and Glenn

It is interesting that NPWS have confirmed the booking for this trip as this area was part of the fires known as the Hawkesbury Complex Fire this last weekend and is still being mentioned in the major fire updates on RFS site .This area received particular attention including drop ins by the RAFT teams from RFS and would assume that it would still be closed off, although we are now sitting in drizzly rain at the moment which will only assist in operations

Regarding any bushfire situation or park closure; Ryan will be in contact with the Ranger for the area. Trip can be postponed if the worst situation occurs.

Many thanks to Ryan for his work in obtaining last minute permission from National Parks to allow another vehicle on this trip; JeffH will now be joining us.

Looks like the weather will be OK for Sunday

Check my 1st post for location of the garage at Colo Hts; about a 35 minute drive from Windsor bridge. It's the only garage around. Will pm you my phone no. if you want to talk.

If anyone is not sure of the meet up point............

The Ampol garage is located at Colo Heights which is a 35 minute drive from the bridge at Windsor crossing the Hawkesbury River. You will be on the Putty, or Singleton Rd., heading north. It's the only road that heads north other than the freeway over the eastern side of Sydney.

From the bridge at Windsor, you will drive a few k's to the town of Wilberforce. It will be a 60k zone, keep on the main road, it will be signposted to Singleton.

From here it's a case of stay on the main road; you'll go down to the Colo River, up the other side where it will be very twisty/windy till you get to the Colo Heights area. Garage is on the right, & it's the only one till Singleton :!:

if your gps struggles to find the exact meeting point like mine does, try searching for 3375 singleton rd colo heights. the mp is opposite this address.
