Matt, funny you say that, I don't fish but some people that we know also came over today staying at the same place as us, were down the front fishing and the 8yo hooked one straight up, they threw it in a container and while they were at the water a dingo came down and stole it. Brings a new meaning to the one that got away!!!

                      Re: Fraser Island June 2010

You can't use a cast net in NSW and a few years ago I spent considerable time in a creek catching live poddy mullet for a live baiting expedition. Late in the day I checked on the health of my catch and inadvertantly left the lid off the bucket when I walked back down to the water.

Turned around to see a white egret perched on the edge gobbling the poor ba$tards up as fast as he could go. 3 hours work down the throat of the bird in seconds.

                      Cheers,

                      Dave

When I was there at easter, I think I only locked the centre diff twice, on and off the barge, and that was more of a precaution than anything.

Went through their today no big deal, soft and rough as normal, 20PSI, 1st gear and some right foot, pretty easy as long as u kept the momentum going. I also had 4 adults and 2 kids on board plus a full roof rack. The lift has a made a world of difference.
