Do you have someone organised to collect firewood -we do sell large bagged firewood for $15 bag or of course it is free if you collect.
Judging by the warm night weather we have had in the last few days, I don't think we will be needing any firewoods. I night even have to sleep in the nude...
Ahmm, eerrr, we have had something come up next weekend now
Hehe.
It depends on how you read that statement as to whether I am now more worried or less...

Is it to late to put our name down? It will be myself, wife and daughter. We would arrive Saturday morning or late Friday night.
No worries at all, the more the merrier plus Jason and Family have had to pull out due to recent events so there is a spare gap.
See you Friday or Saturday.

Not really, just mild stuff but a few places to have a little play and a couple of creek crossings. Mine is lifted and I have a winch but running stock AT22 tyres... Damn 18" rims! One day I will get around to changing them. See you Friday or Saturday.

Sorry to hear that Rick, thanks for letting us know. I hope all is ok.
JoshF and Daytripper will be the first to arrive at the site on the day by the looks of it so I have asked if they could help and secure our site as well as be the official meet and greeters. Keep an eye out for a nice looking Silver Suzuki Grand Vitara and a nice Black SWB NT Pajero. As you enter the camping area if you could turn to UHF 15 and let Josh know you are on your way in.
There will be no phone / 3G service at Gordon Country so UHF is the best form of communication.
Mt wife and I plus John and Penny plan to be there at around 7.30pm on the Friday evening. I will send all coming a PM to grab a little further info so that I can pass on some details to JoshF and Daytripper to assist with identification.
Cheers Daniel

Consider it done.
Looking forward to the weekend but quietly wishing the weather cools down, unless I can find a way to fit an air-con unit into the tent. ops:
I plan to sit in the creek, really hoping that it is flowing... Good idea on the AC but, I am sure I can run a duct from the Prado to the Camper. Diesel would also be as cheap to run as the house AC

Hi Guys
Just confirming with all those coming to Gordon Country this weekend. Please see the first page for maps, links etc and ensure you print out a copy so you can find your way. JoshF and Daytripper will be at the Camp Site Friday midday to mid afternoon so they should be the first to arrive and able to meet and greet. UHF 15 is the channel to call them on when arriving.
Due to a slight roster change at work John (Johnhgh) is coming up on Saturday afternoon now, thanks John.
This is the list of those attending, any more keen to come please let me know or if you cannot come also please let me know. Dave let me know what time on Saturday you would like me to meet you out on Inverramsy Road?

Also please do not take offence to this or think I am lazy but my wife and I are up for a relaxing weekend, it has been a hectic last few weeks for us at work and this week I have been up at all hours due to a faulty alarm system and she is now 18 weeks pregnant and the alarm system is not helping her either, so we are both buggered. Still keen for a drive / explore but.
Looking forward to a good weekend, see you all (well most of you) tomorrow night.
Cheers Daniel
