Production update:
Rightio, production is back online but with a catch. By next Friday, 7th Oct, there will be up to 6 sets ready. Then following on from that will be the remainder in about 1 or 2 weeks after the initial batch. I think I have pretty much missed the deadlines of those who have contacted me who require the plates urgently. So is there anyone who still require them urgently?

I'll take a set AMTS, I'm still cruising around with no bash plates, think it may actually be hindering my fuel economy without them.
Only problem being I'm working Fri/Sat nights and leave for Sydney on Sunday morning for a week... could pick up a set and fit at work fri/sat? Do they fit in the rear of a prado?

Sounds like production is about to hit top gear.
If you have got "urgent" orders to fill, I can wait another couple of weeks.
Had a Pin removed from my right Tibia on the 19/9 so taking it easy at the moment.

If you go for trying to fit them on my rig, you'll know which bolt holes are buggered, as the toyo plates went back on an missing bolts have been replaced with an assortment of cable ties!!!

LOL, I was going to fit them right up until you mentioned cable ties..... The plates are a little heavier than the plastic Toyo's so no, I will not be fitting them with or without chain.

I can see it now, "Hi Rob, it's Loz, that bit of metal has come loose while I was driving and Mach2 and wrapped around the rear diff.... is that bad or can I drive home?"

Definitely a Loz thing, she only has to speeds - flat out or stopped! Was running without them since the initial border track trip but figured cable tied was better than nothing for the Peake trip Monday just been.

Andrew, there's no rush for mine as Rob won't fit them for me, if the initial batch goes under urgent then an extra week or two won't be an issue.

I think its a wider genetic issue caused by two x chromosones.

Troy, hope you're not in too much of an inconvenience with that tibia.

Matt, I don't think MLC is competent enough to fit them on. If he wants to drive your car to my place, I may be able to put them on and see if I can fix up that buggered thread.

To anyone else reading this, if you have smashed up Toyota bashplates and you removed them to get it cleaned up, be very careful when reinstalling as the plates have taken a new form once released from the chassis. When you try and line up the bolts, the bolt is very likely to misalign and cross thread. If in doubt, drill out a bigger hole and apply cold galv or similar to the Toyota plates.
