I also fitted a set up to my GXL 2.8 a couple of weeks back, I used a floor jack to assist with holding up the front plate. They are some pretty serious bash plates! and sit up quite high which is what I was after.

Nice to meet Tin tonight on my journey up the M1. Pleasant straight forward bloke to deal with. Thanks for the advice on taking off the OEM sump guard. First part completed. 2 more plates to fit. Looking good. Thanks again. Sturdy looking product.

How much do they weigh compared to the Toyota ones they replace?

The sump and transmission guard a 22kg in total. The transfer/actuator guard is 9kg. Not sure what the standard bash plate would weigh. I'd say less than 10kg. I have a set of Toyota ones at home. I'll weigh them tonight.

I'll have another small batch ready in a couple of weeks. They fit the ARB and TJM bullbars.
