Well considering the other 4 tyres from that set had done 85,000 KMs over 8 years I haven't done too badly from them.
Back to the original topic though I'm still struggling to undertand what benefit a partial rear wheel cover would have. Apart from the anti-theft features (which can be acheived with lock nuts) there doesn't seem much point to them.
PS: To the OP, I had a look on eBay and spotted a number of 120 series compatible wheel covers, including the partial one below with built in tail/brake lights for $99:-
