The dp34 chip I purchased came with instructions for the 120 series and 90 series TD instructions. So I made the assumption they are interchangeable. Between the 2 prados. Though Dp chip do recommend sending it back to them for $170 for reprogramming.. I believe that is a personal choice though I am no expert.
Any DP Chip for Prado, needs to be returned, for re-flashing of memory and then the correct and updated firmware installed.
This will cost $170.00 (includes Postage to you), and takes approx 2 weeks. Also, DP Chip (Berrima Diesel) update their database with your details (Vehicle and Shipping Address) and the Serial Number of the unit, so they know who has them, as there are Fake DP Chips being sold, on sites like Gumtree and Ebay.
I know, as I did this with a DP chip I bought on ebay from someone who had a 150 series D4D.

1a) Get the Serial Number from Seller - This is very easy to find.
Also ask for a photo of the Chip with the Serial Number
1b) If no Serial Number is Advised, Don't Buy It.
2) Ring DP Chip or email them the number and get them to check.
3) They will advise if it is one of theirs.
4) If OK, then advise them of your plans, and they should OK the purchase.
5) Once in your hands, formerly advise DP Chip via email, that you are now the new owner (this is for their records)
6) Send to DP Chip (if necessay for Firmware Upgrade / Reflash of memory.) This will need to be done if bought a DP31 from a 150 Prado for use in a 120 series or vv (as the firmware setup is slightly different)
